The Cathedral of Love Ministries and Cathedral of Love Church was founded by Pastor Dr. Larry D. Abernathy Sr. in 1977 in Glendale, California. A small congregation soon grew into a world wide outreach well beyond the borders of its home. In 1985 Dr. Larry moved the church and ministry to the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area) where it has continued to grow its outreach even more.
Today the ministry not only reaches 32 countries worldwide but is reaching out to its own in the Coachella Valley to thousands of homless men, women, and children. From job loss to domestic violence to forgotten veterans, many are in need. We have began to reach out not only to share God's love in word but to show God's love in action.
We believe with God ALL things are possible. That Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected and is Alive as Lord of ALL. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are ONE. We believe in the 100 Fold word of God and in the complete and total power of the Blood of Jesus. The word of God IS TRUTH from cover to cover. Above all we believe in the greatest commandment: To love as he loves us.
Matthew 25:45: "Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me."
Everything given to this ministry goes right back into helping and serving those in need who are hurting so much. THERE ARE NO SALARIES PAID TO ANYONE. OVER 1,000 PEOPLE DONATE THEIR TIME, EFFORTS, AND LOVE.
